A Study on Discrepancy Rate Between the Actual and Belived ABO Groups in Recruits.

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to inverstigate the discrepancy rate between actual and believed groups, ABO blood grouping was performed on new recruits at army training station.
The results were as follows;
1. Among 34,182 new recruits, discrepancies were found in 1,876 and the rate was approximately 5.5%.
2. The discrepancies were found 595 (31.7%) in group O, 466 (24.8%) in group A, 455 (24.3%) in group B and 360 (19.2%) in group AB.
